Here come poems for young readers, to be read by two (or more) alternating voices. Each poem is like a little informative conversation delivered in brief, rhyming lines. Most of the poems feature personification. So we have Tugboat and Barge chatting together, as well as Hands speaking to Feet, Fact with Fiction, Numbers with Letters and more. The poems should actively build fluency and also help kids focus their attention, since they'll be required to listen so that they can respond with their lines.
